Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Transportation Driver to join our team. As a Medical Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation to patients with medical conditions or disabilities, such as wheelchair-bound individuals or elderly patients with mobility issues.
Responsibilities:
Drive medical transportation vehicles, such as vans or wheelchair-accessible vehicles, in a safe and efficient manner
Provide assistance to patients in getting in and out of vehicles
Ensure that vehicles are clean and well-maintained
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Maintain accurate records of trips and patient information
Communicate with patients, their families, and healthcare providers in a professional and compassionate manner
Adhere to all relevant regulations and laws related to medical transportation
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Prior experience in medical transportation preferred but not required
